This story is about Blind and Crippled. Once in a village there lived a man named Vishnu. He was lame in one leg. He would have a hardtime walking or moving around.

Moral story

One day he had to go to the neighbouring village for some work. But the village was really far. And the road too wasrocky and full of potholes. So he had to walk very carefully and cautiously.

Along the way, Vishnu saw a blindman sitting by the side of the road. He slowly walked up to that blind man. And started talking to him. Friend, what is your name? - Soordas. Okay. My name is Vishnu. Where do you have to go? Me? To the neighbouring village of Sundarwadi. I see. I too have to go there. I'm glad. I too will get company. Yes. Look, listen to what I say carefully. I have a plan which will be useful for both of us. I didn't get you. What plan? Look, I am lame. Hence I can't walk properly. And you can't see. If you are able to carry me on your shoulders.. ..then I can show you the way. And you'll not bump in to anyone. - Yes. And our problems will also be taken care of. Right? Soordas liked this plan. He carried Vishnu on his shoulders. And Soordas started walking on the directions of Vishnu.

This is how they reached their destination. And overcame their disability with co-operation. Both started to find their lives to be better and happier than before. They overcame their problems with co-operation. And they soon became good friends.

One day they left for the market. Soordas, look over there. I can see a bundle or something under that tree. Really?- Let's go check what it is. Let's go.- Let's go. Which direction?- Right. Let's go. Both of them reached the tree. Vishnu quickly got off Soordas's shoulders. And he picked that bundle up.

When he opened the bundle he was stunned. Wow. Oh my God! What happened?- Soordas, in this bundle.... There is gold jewellery in this bundle. What? What are you saying? - Yes. Give. Give that bundle to me. Great. No way. Only I have right on this bundle of gold jewellery. What did you say?- Of course. You tell me. If I had not told you about this bundle.. ..you would never know about it. Give it to me. - Give it to me. Give it to me. Friend, if I had not brought you to this bundle.. ..then would you have ever found it? Tell me. Give it to me.- Give it to me.

For the greed of the bundle of jewellery.. ..they started fighting with each other. Give it to me.- Give it to me. Give it to me.- Give it to me. No one was ready to relinquish their right on the bundle. Give it to me. - Give it to me.

A gentleman was passing by at that very moment. He walked up to them when he saw them fighting. He understood their sides to the story. And he said. Friends, you've found this gold jewellery with one's eyes.. ..and with the other person's legs. So you have equal right on it. And yes. Fighting it over it is not right at all. You will get your share of the jewellery. But more than this, your friendship is more important. Because you'll need each other in the future as well.

Vishnu and Soordas realised their mistake. They thanked the gentleman. And divided the jewellery into two equal portions and shared it. This is how they maintained their friendship. They remained good friends for life.

So what lesson do we learn from this story?
