Misinterpreting
Once a scientist taught a grasshopper to jump at the sound of his voice. Being a scientist, he likes to do experiments. This scientist experimented on the jump of a grasshopper. The scientist taught that grasshopper to jump on his voice.
The scientist broke one of his legs and asked him to jump! The grasshopper jumped but his jump was shorter than before. Then the scientist broke his other leg and asked him to jump. Again, the grasshopper's jump became shorter than before.
Then the scientist broke the third, then the fourth and one by one all his legs! After all the legs were broken, the scientist asked the grasshopper to jump, but the poor fellow could not even move from his place! After all this was done, the scientist wrote his conclusion in his diary.
Do you know what he wrote? He wrote that when one leg of the grasshopper was broken, its hearing ability decreased slightly and after each leg was broken, it became more and more deaf and after all the legs were broken, it became completely deaf! So deaf that he could not even jump on hearing my voice!
Friends, you must be thinking what a fool the scientist was because the grasshopper could not walk because of his broken legs and not because of his deafness. But friends think once, don't we also often become fools like the same scientist?
Moral of the Story
Sometimes there are some incidents in our life which we do not understand and we keep getting upset by misinterpreting them. Sometimes we see something else, we understand something else and what actually happens is something else.
If we do not want to regret in life, then we should do work with understanding and thinking carefully. Before arriving at any result or conclusion, we should check whether we are making any mistakes.

टिड्डा और वैज्ञानिक की कहानी
वैज्ञानिक ने उस टिड्डे को अपनी आवाज़ पर उसे छलांग मारना सीखा दिया। वैज्ञानिक ने उस की एक टांग तोड़ दी और उसे छलांग मारने के लिए कहा! टिड्डे ने छलांग लगाई लेकिन उसकी छलांग पहले से छोटी रही।
फिर वैज्ञानिक ने उसकी दूसरी टांग तोड़ दी और उसे छलांग मारने के लिए कहा। फिर से टिड्डे की छलांग पहले से और ज्यादा छोटी होगई। फिर वैज्ञानिक ने तीसरा फिर चौथा और एक-एक करके उसके सारे पैर तोड़ दिए!
सारे पैर टूट जाने के बाद वैज्ञानिक ने टिड्डे को छलांग मारने के लिए कहा लेकिन वह बेचारा अपनी जगह से हिल भी नहीं पाया! यह सब हो जाने के बाद वैज्ञानिक ने अपनी डायरी में उसका निष्कर्ष लिखा।
पता है उसने क्या लिखा? उसने लिखा कि टिड्डे का एक पैर टूटा तो उसकी सुनने की क्षमता थोड़ी कम हो गई और हर एक पैर टूटने के बाद वो और ज्यादा बहरा और बहरा होता गया और सभी पैर टूट जाने के बाद वह पूरी तरह बहरा हो गया! इतना बहरा कि वह मेरी आवाज सुन कर छलांग ही मार नहीं पाया!
दोस्तों, आप सोच रहे होंगे कि कैसा मूर्ख वैज्ञानिक था क्योंकि टिड्डा चल नहीं पा रहा था उसकी वजह उसकी टांगों का टूटना था ना कि उसका बहरापन। लेकिन दोस्तों एक बार सोच कर देखिए क्या हम भी उसी वैज्ञानिक की तरह अक्सर मूर्ख नहीं बनते हैं?
कहानी का Moral
कभी-कभी हमारे जीवन में कुछ ऐसी घटनाएं होती है जो हमें समझ नहीं आती और हम उसका गलत मतलब निकालकर परेशान होते रहते हैं। कभी-कभी दिखता कुछ और हमें समझ में कुछ और आता है और वास्तव में होता कुछ और ही है।
अगर हमें जीवन में पछताना नहीं है तो हमें चाहिए कि हर काम को समझ बूझ से अच्छी तरह विचार करके ही करना चाहिए। किसी भी परिणाम या नतीजे पर पहुंचने से पहले हमें उसकी जांच करनी चाहिए कि कहीं हमसे कोई गलती तो नहीं हो रही।
